TREATMENT FOR MESOTHELIOMA

As with any form of cancer, early diagnosis is crucial, so always tell your doctor if you (or anyone close to you) has been exposed to asbestos.

Current mesothelioma treatments include surgery, radiation therapy, palliative therapy and chemotherapy.

But there are always clinical trials being conducted and the possibility of new treatments provides hope for all sufferers of mesothelioma.

One way to ease some of the suffering is knowing that your family will be cared for financially and to this end, many legal firms now specialise in acting on behalf of victims of mesothelioma.

COMPENSATION FOR MESOTHELIOMA PATIENTS

Because many companies knew about the risks involved in inhaling asbestos, but did nothing to warn or protect their workers, it's now possible to gain some compensation. And in fact, some victims of mesothelioma have collected millions of dollars in class action cases.

If you, or anyone in your family has been affected by exposure to asbestos, you can seek legal advice about class action lawsuits and individual claims for compensation.
